Cinema

We do Pro Audio and Video Production using Red, Canon, and Sony CineAlta Camera Systems. Our video production cameras capture 1920x1080 pixels (7 times as many pixels as a normal DVD's you rent) @ 24 fps (same as 35mm film) with a cine gamma (color reproduction - also similar to 35mm film) and can use 35mm camera lenses for controlled shallow depth of field - completing the trinity of "Cinematic Film Look". Get the look and feel of a 35mm film production with the flexibility and spontaneous creativity of digital cinematography.

To hold up to the quality set by our Cinematography and top quality Production techniques we use various audio kits that capture amazing audio at a bit depth of 32 bits and sampling frequency of 192 kHz. We have the pre-amps on our recording equipment meticulously re-built by the famous Oade Brothers in our quest for Audio Recording Perfection. We have even captured clean audio in industrial environments so noisy that OSHA required hearing protection!

VIDEO PRODUCTION

Most professional Video Production workflows require quite a bit more time for logging and capturing clips to hard disc than originally required to shoot the footage. We capture directly to hard drive. This has two huge benefits. First it saves the client money right from the beginning of the process. Second it lets us organize clips immediately while our thoughts regarding best take are still fresh. In fact it is not unusual for us to create a rough first edit of the day’s shooting while still on location.

This is just the beginning of our implementation of the lean production philosophy. We have created a video production process that eliminates a great deal of waste and leaves behind a streamlined and well-honed operation. By owning our own cameras, audio recording and grip equipment we can respond quickly and efficiently to changing opportunities. Our grip trailer is stocked with a vast array of lighting and light modifiers, dollys, dolly track, jibs, booms, pan/tilt controllers, styling equipment and supplies, and various other grip tools. It is designed to allow us to be very cost effective for our clients... all while maintaining the opportunity for spontaneous creativity. Our goal is to create the highest quality videos in the shortest amount of time, at very competitive rates.

While capture and edit are done in HD, we can deliver needed resolution for: the web, iPod, iPhone, iPad, Zune HD, SDTV, HDTV and full glorious HD 1080p. We’ll give you files in Flash, QuickTiime, h.264, WMV, on VCD, DVD, Blu-ray, Hard Drive or whatever you may need.

To make things easier for our clients who value the highest quality playback, we have full HD 1080P projection equipment and Amplifier / PA’s with Klipsch speakers available for rental.
